It was absolutely amazing to be out on the tedx stage and see all the things that went into making a Ted event happen the entire experience was exhilarating.
It was a transformative experience I feel like I’ve grown so much as a performer and as a person. One of my favorite parts of the event was when I was waiting to speak and just sitting with the other speakers and the conversations that we had with the other speakers and participants in the tedx event were very mentally stimulating.
It warmed my heart to see that so many people still care about this world and it just goes to show that even when things seem Bleak there’s always love in this world if you are willing to open your eyes and see it. But on the contrary, The only thing that I could consider negative was how nervous I was before I went on. It seems like no matter how much I practiced I couldn’t get my nerves to go away but as soon as I hit the stage they went away and when I got off the stage I was feeling this electricity in the air because the crowd was so very loving and supportive.
It was very nice to get to spread my message to all the people at at MSU and I’m excited for it to be on online so maybe it could help people who are going through a situation similar to mine. And that’s the thing that I’m most grateful for is that because of tedx I can maybe have the opportunity of helping somebody who is struggling. Because when I was in that situation I was looking for answers in a lot of different places and when I was looking I did look for answers and Ted so it’s nice for me to feel like I finally get to repay the favor.
